Leslie Small works tirelessly to affirm his cinematic voice in the exciting world of Hollywood. With the successful airing of Snoop and Kevin Hart’s Olympic highlights and Kevin Hart’s Zero F**ks Given, for Netflix, Leslie is looking forward to the release of his next film “For the Love of Money. Leslie is currently in post-production for the 2nd season of NBC Peacock’s talk show Hart 2 Hart. Fresh off the hills of “Undercover Brother II” and “Holiday Rush” Leslie is excited about his future as a filmmaker.

Leslie received his start in theater under the tutelage of Hal Dewindt. His professional directorial debut was the popular stage play, “The Diary of A Black Man.” He went on to direct music videos, commercials and documentaries, including “Adventures of the American West,” for the Disney Channel.

More than just a filmmaker, Leslie Small is an intellectual and an innovator. Completing his doctoral studies in Economic development, he is driven by the exploration of the intimate reality shared by people, no matter what race, religion, creed or socioeconomic status. This awareness allows him to incorporate these themes into his films. Expect to hear the name “Leslie Small” for many years to come, as he is only getting started.

Leslie has worked with many comedic superstars. An interviewer once asked him why comedy? Leslie replied, “Comedy cleanses the soul and gives pause to chaos. Sometimes the doctor needs a doctor and the medication is a little laughter.”
