Angele was a recent alumnus for Lena Waithe's new 2021 Hillman Grad writing fellowship and mentorship lab program.
Recently, she directed the motion picture DATING COVID which is premiering at ABFF festival in 2023.
She also shadowed Ava DuVernay on the Colin Kaepernick series COLIN IN BLACK & WHITE at Netflix and she is being considered by the production team at UCP to directing on a series at the studio.
Her new short she directed FEVER got accepted into the prestigious BFI London Film Festival to showcase the film.
She also just finished directing 2 episodes of a digital series MS/MANAGE.
In addition, she directed 2 episodes of THE RETREAT and her 2 other short films LOVE IN THE SHADOWS and DAUGHTERS OF SOLANAS, were critically acclaimed; in which the later received best comedy/best director nominations.
Angele also made it to the semifinal round for the American Film Institute's Directing Women Workshop and the final rounds for the Sundance Episodic Labs.
